Children’s Room Name Sign – Custom Cut Wood Letters

A name sign that’s cut, not printed — each letter shaped from real plywood, so the lettering has depth and a shadow of its own. The preview you see above is exactly what we cut: same letters, same proportions, same size. We review every design before cutting and will message you first if anything needs a small change for strength.

How it works

1. Type the name. Up to three lines, each with its own font — a script for the name and a clean capital for a surname or “est.” line works beautifully. Drag the size slider to balance the lines.
2. Choose the finish. Natural wood for a soft, Scandi look, or painted in one of eight colours. Add a painted backing plate behind the letters for a two-tone sign with extra strength.
3. Add a shape if you like — a heart, a star, a sea turtle — beside, above or below the name. Joined shapes touch the letters so the whole sign hangs as one piece.
4. Set the width and tick “See it to scale” to preview it on a wall or over a cot.
5. Add to cart. Your ready-by date is shown beside the price. We review every design before cutting and will message you first if anything needs a small change for strength.

Details

• Natural Bintangor plywood, cut in-house by laser.
• Thickness: 4 mm, 8 mm or 12 mm — thicker layers give a bolder shadow and suit larger signs.
• Finish: natural wood, or painted in white, black, navy, gold, blush pink, sage, red or royal blue. Optional painted backing plate.
• Width: 8″ to 48″; height follows the lettering. Signs wider than our cutting bed are cut in sections and joined invisibly from the front.
• Hanging: ships with pre-applied mounting tape. Prefer to mount with your own nails or hanging cord? Let us know and we’ll add small mounting holes to the piece (visible from the front).
• Preset designs (like the one shown) are starting points — every element can be changed.

Good to know

• Made to order. A plain natural sign is usually ready in 2 business days; painted, backed or larger signs take longer — the exact date is shown before you order.
• Wood is a natural material: grain and tone vary slightly from piece to piece, which is part of its character.
• Keep out of direct sun and damp; wipe with a dry cloth.
